We offer many different services: (Take a look in our Picture Gallery for photos of our work) Traffic Control Our traffic division has a large fleet of 21 traffic control sign trucks, 28 support vehicles, 30 variable message signs, 27 arrow boards, and 6 truck mounted impact attenuators (TMA). Our inventory of construction signs and traffic control devices will meet any job requirements. Highway Signing and Concrete Median Barrier Signs Parking Lot Striping Parking Bumpers, Speed Bumps and Bollards The company sells and installs safety bollards around fire hydrants, gas meters, electrical boxes, etc. A maintenance free cover is also available. Extruded Curb Crack Sealing Sealing cracks in your parking lot is a fairly simple procedure. Dirt, debris, and vegetation are removed from the cracks using compressed air and heat. The sealant is then applied at approximately 400 degrees. The advantage of applying the material at this temperature is that the rubber is completely melted and the melted rubber flows to the bottom of the crack and sticks to the walls forming a water-proof barrier. Finally we pass over the top of the crack with a V-shaped squeegee to make a uniform 4" band. The purpose of the 4" band is to prevent damage to the product from vehicle traffic, eliminate the possibility of a trip hazard, and to properly seal the top of the crack to prevent water from entering. Seal Coat Seal coating your asphalt will drastically improve the first impression people get when they see your business or home. Seal coat is dark black in color making your asphalt look and wear better. Seal coat also fills in the voids in your asphalt minimizing damage from water penetration. When your asphalt is dark black in color it draws more heat from the sun, when asphalt temperature increases from the heat it becomes soft and wears better in traffic areas and cracking from vehicle load weight is greatly reduced. The single greatest benefit to seal coating is the value. An asphalt overlay price is controlled by the current price of crude oil, which we all know is very expensive. A seal coat will cost a fraction of an overlay, and if done properly will last you approximatey 3-5 years. Seal coating a parking lot is no easy task. First the lot must be thoroughly cleaned. Dirt and debris must be removed from the lot to ensure proper adhesion of the seal coat material. We do this by combing every square inch of your lot with a steel bristle broom and a high powered air blower. The seal coat material is tnen applied. Next there is the drying time. Seal coat needs at least 24 hours to cure before the lot is ready for traffic again. This often poses a problem for a business that is open seven days per week. However, with proper planning, our crews can limit the inconvenience to the business and its customers. |
